Lynx IDG was originally established in 1984 by our original founder - Len Newton.

Following a management buyout in 1994 the company rebranded as Lynx IDG to better reflect the company ID.

Lynx was created to offer a specialist interior design and shopfitting service to the UK's independent optical sector (this was an industry first) and Lynx IDG remain the only company in the UK providing such a targeted approach to this very unique retail / clinical hybrid proposition.

In the 41 years since inception, Lynx have constantly pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the field and have won multiple awards and accolades over the years from within and outside the optical profession.
